Ingredients:

Sausages
  • 4 sausages of your choice
  • 4 rashers of smoked bacon
  • 1 tbsp hot honey rub
  • Non-stick spray
Hot Honey Rub
  • 3 tbsp honey granules
  • 3 tbsp yellow sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Hot Honey Sauce
  • 1/4 cup liquid honey
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp hot honey rub

Instructions:

1. Before we get started, preheat your air fryer to 390°F. Now, let’s jump right in! Combine all the ingredients for the hot honey rub, mix thoroughly, and set aside.

2. It’s time to chop, chop! Grab your sausages and bacon rashers, then cut both in half. Season both sides of the bacon with the hot honey rub you had set aside, then wrap the seasoned bacon around the sausages you just halved.

3. Now grab your handy dandy MEATER Plus and insert that MEATER probe into the center of the sausage, past the safety notch line, and set up your cook in the app with a target internal temperature of 165°F.

4. Then, take your non-stick spray and lightly spray your air fryer. Time to get cookin’! Place the bacon-wrapped sausages in the pre-heated air fryer and wait till MEATER notifies you to remove them from the heat! Pro-tip: keep your MEATER Plus charger nearby to ensure a strong connection to the probe!

5. While your kitchen is starting to smell like heaven, let’s make the hot honey dipping sauce to pair with the sausages! Grab a bowl, and mix together the liquid honey, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and remaining hot honey rub. Then, set this mixture aside for when the sausages are done.

6. Alert, alert! The sausages are ready to be removed from the heat! Let them rest until MEATER notifies you they are ready, then dip those sausages in your hot honey dipping sauce, and say hello to the perfect bite!
